The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) said efforts are underway to restore telecommunications services in the governorates of North and South al-Batinah, which have been affected by the weather.

The total of the affected stations include 102, and 75 percent of them have been returned to work.

Heavy rains and active winds in Saham, Al-Khaboura, Al-Suwaiq, and Seeb caused many damages to properties due to the uprooting of a number of trees and palms, collapse of walls roofs built with unstable materials.

Some farm animals were also killed during the unstable weather conditions.
