Oman’s pavilion at ATM Dubai 2022 inaugurated

Muscat – H E Azzan bin Qassim al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Tourism in the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), inaugurated Oman’s pavilion in its new look at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition, which kicked off today at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by MHT, and 14 institutions and establishments related to the Omani tourism sector, is participating in the activities of this year’s edition of the ATM exhibition in Dubai, which is being held from May 9 to May 12.

H E Busaidi said, “Participation in the Arabian Travel Market exhibition is important for the ministry and the Omani tourism sector institutions. The ministry aims to continue its efforts to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by introducing Omani tourism products, promoting the latest services, offers and tourist destinations.”

It is noteworthy that the activities of this year’s edition of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai shed light on a number of key elements and sectors related to the global tourism industry and its current and future trends, focusing on the elements of innovation, sustainability and human resources, by accelerating the creation and adoption of many digital and technical solutions.

ATM aims to attract the emerging tourism markets. According to the latest specialised reports published by BNC Network, it is expected that hotel contracts worth US$4.5bn will be awarded in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries this year, which represents an annual growth of 16 per cent.
