Agreement signed to fund Al Sawadi Health Center expansion

Muscat – An agreement for funding the expansion of Al Sawadi Health Center in Barka, South Batinah governorate, was signed on Tuesday at Wali of Barka office.

The project, funded by the Yasir Ali al Mabiyahasi, member of Majlis A’Shura from Barka, symbolises the role of community partnership with the Ministry of Health in developing the health sector and improving the health services provided in the country, creating sustainable benefits for the entire Omani community.

The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of Sheikh Issa Hamad al Azri, Governor of South Batinah, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah al Buraiki, Wali of Barka, and attended by Dr Ali al Muqbali, director general of Health Services in South Batinah governorate as well number of health officials.

Sheikh Azri valued the initiative, wishing for more such similar to serve all segments of society.

Wali of Barak further thanked Mabiyahasi for his efforts exerted in upgrading the health services in the Wilayat.

Dr Muqbali stressed the importance of promoting community partnership, commending the initiative made by Barka representative member of Shura Council. He stated that such initiatives would advance the level of health services in the wilayat and result in providing comprehensive health services and facilitating access to health care for all.
