161-key Avani Muscat Hotel opens in Seeb

Muscat – Avani Hotels & Resorts has entered the Omani hospitality industry with Avani Muscat Hotel, the upbeat, contemporary brand’s first property in the sultanate owned by Safari International Group.

Under the auspices of H E Eng Issam al Zadjali, chairman of Muscat Municipality, Avani Muscat marked its official opening with a grand ceremony on Monday.

Zamzam Sulaiman al Rashdi, CEO of Safari International Group, said, “We are so happy that many Omani companies participated in the construction of the hotel and we have used local materials like Omani marble.”

She added, “Our hotel’s Omanisation level exceeds 30 per cent and the cost of the project is around RO23mn.”
