Central Bank of Oman and NCFI sign cooperation programme

Muscat – The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and the National Center for Financial Information (NCFI) have signed a cooperation programme to collaborate on significant aspects of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML-CFT) laws.

The programme was signed by H E Tahir Salim al Amri, executive president of the Central Bank of Oman, and Lt Col Abdulrahman Amer al Kiyumi, executive president of the National Center for Financial Information, the CBO said in a statement on Sunday.

The cooperation arrangement aims to enhance collaboration between the two entities on matters related with exchanging of AML-CFT information, and ensuring effective implementation of AML-CFT laws in Oman.
