CBO says payment systems faced technical glitches

Muscat – The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) on Tuesday said that some of its payment systems were experiencing intermittent interruptions in view of a technical issue since early morning on Tuesday.

The Central Bank of Oman has affirmed in a statement that the specialised teams are working on the issue and the services will be resumed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the CBO has directed the banks and payment services providers to process certain payment services via other alternative payment networks.
