Oman-Saudi reaffirm strong relations and mutual respect

Riyadh: His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, the Sultanate’s ambassador accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reaffirmed that the relations between the two brotherly countries were deep-rooted and established on strong ties and mutual respect.

In a statement to Oman News Agency, he said that the distinct relations between the two countries have covered the popular and commercial levels, which would further enhance the cultural , social and economic relations.

Regarding the existing investments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Sultanate, he said that business sector in both the countries would no doubt upgrade the level of exchange of trade between the two countries.

He also pointed to the interest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in boosting their investments in the Sultanate, mainly in light of the amendments and improvements the Sultanate has issued in terms of restructuring the administrative apparatus of the State and the legislations and improvement of the business environment besides the facilities aimed to boost national economy.

On the road to link the Sultanate and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he said “Work is in progress and at the final stages.”

Regarding the border post, he said that “the authorities concerned in both the countries are according due efforts to this effect.”
