13 deals inked to stimulate real estate in Oman
Muscat – As part of its efforts to support and revitalise the real estate and investment sector, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning signed thirteen agreements in various sectors.
‘The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning signed 13 usufruct contracts with a number of private sector companies and individuals. These include the industrial, agricultural, and commercial sectors, besides fuel filling stations and services distributed over several governorates,’ an official statement said.
The ministry also announced a bid for six plots to establish integrated service stations in the various governorates of Oman. These are located on the Batinah Expressway and Nizwa-Thumrait-Salalah Road – one in the wilayat of Hima in Al Wusta, one in Liwa, one in Sahem in North Batinah, and one in the wilayat of Barka in North Batinah governorate. The projects aim to provide basic services to road users and stimulate economic movement between governorates.
