By harnessing the sun's energy with GlassPoint's Enclosed Trough technology, the solar EOR project produces a daily average of 50 tons of emissions-free steam that feeds directly into existing thermal EOR operations at PDO's Amal West field in Southern Oman.
The 7MW system is in regular operation and recently passed its first performance acceptance test since coming online, exceeding contracted steam output by 10%.

Oman Air places order for three A330-300 aircraft

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate, has placed an order for three A330-300s. The order will bring Oman Air’s A330 fleet to 10 planes.
The aircraft will be operated on long-haul routes and can seat close to 300 passengers, the company said in a press release.
